Agent templates

What agent templates are, the categories available, and how to clone a template into your own agent.

A template is a ready starting point: a system prompt, a model, and parameters picked for a common task. Instead of writing a prompt from scratch, you take a close template and adapt it.

Where to find templates

The template gallery opens when you create an agent. Templates are grouped by category and domain: personal assistant, editor, analyst, researcher, translator, plus specialized ones — travel, taxes, car buying, flat hunting, morning brief, and more.

How cloning works

When you pick a template, AgentHere creates a personal copy in your account:

  • the original template stays unchanged;
  • you get a full agent you can edit freely;
  • your changes don't affect other users.

Template vs. from scratch

  • Template — if there's a close ready role. Saves time on the initial setup.
  • From scratch — if the task is niche or you already have a ready system prompt.

In both cases the result is an agent with the same structure; only the starting point differs.

Templates and the agent marketplace are connected: popular templates often become published agents, and an agent installed from the marketplace can be turned into your own template for future projects. Categories are shared between both surfaces.
